Miguel Nunes was born in Madeira, in the Atlantic, in 1983. Currently, he resides in Luxembourg and works as a self-taught photographer. His interest in photography began during his sociology studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. The constant use of images to understand social issues led him to a deep interest in photography.

Currently, Miguel Nunes is involved in various fields of photography, such as documentary, visual sociology, and a focus on specific subjects. Although he masters various photographic techniques, his primary interest lies in procedural approaches. He enjoys exploring other dimensions of art and engaging with photography. In the context of his photographic process, the relationship between digital and print in photography establishes a conceptual connection that highlights the transition from the intangible to the tangible, from the virtual to the physical. This relationship holds particular importance, reflecting his artistic preferences and working philosophy.
